Art VallARTa Museo is proud to announce its first Invitational & International Exhibition and Conversation with Artists of the Banderas Bay Region.
To kick off it 2024 season, New York City based artist, Dove Bradshaw, (https://www.dovebradshaw.com/) will present Zero Space, Zero Time, Infinite Heat, her first exhibit ever in Central America, which will run from January 12, 2024 to May 5, 2024. Bradshaw will be at the exhibition’s opening events “activating” a sculpture she’s gifted to the museum.
Bradshaw, who’s won both the National Endowment of the Arts Award for Sculpture and the Pollock-Krasner Award for Painting has works in museums all over the world – among them, The Metropolitan Museum of Art (MET) and the Museum of Modern Art (MoMA) in NYC, The National Gallery in Washington DC, The Art Institute of Chicago, The British Museum in London, The Centre Pompidou in Paris, and the Marble Palace (The Russian State Museum) in St. Petersburg … and now, at the Art VallARTa Museo in Puerto Vallarta.
Members of the museum are invited to a private “Meet & Greet” with the artist and will witness the “activation” of her newest Indeterminacy Stone in the museum’s garden on Friday, January 12, 2024.
The following evening, on Saturday, January 13, anyone may purchase tickets by clicking here for a second “Meet & Greet” with Bradshaw. The purchase price of this event’s ticket can be applied to an annual membership at the museum.
Curated by Richard Di Via, who comes to us from the Philadelphia Museum of Art, we encourage everyone to save these dates and join us at these events and for this exhibition which will conclude on Sunday, May 5, 2024 with a Cinco de Mayo party at the museum.
