When she was a teenager she received a painting prize in a school contest representing her home state.
Her first teacher was the outstanding painter Daniel Inchaurregui (1936-1985), later the teacher Ireri Topete. She considers herself a watercolor artist, although she also handles acrylic with dexterity.
Veronica has participated in countless collective exhibitions. She is so talented, disciplined and persevering, such skills qualified her for a position as a watercolor teacher at a renowned art academy, Art Vallarta, in this port city.
As an illustrator, she has an illustrated book just in edition, and more books in process. Veronica has always been a real artist, but since year 2012 she left all collateral activities to be devoted to art, for which we are all grateful. She likes to paint characters, corners, and the roots of Mexican traditions. After lot of passion and effort she achieved one more success her first solo exhibition: OLD MEXICO, THE BRAVE ONE.
Her work makes us reflect on the danger of the extinction or universal values, representing her art the dignity of Mexicans, the value of our work, as well as our idiosyncrasy and the pride of being Mexican.
