Self-taught artist originally from El Mosco in the Jalisco highlands, but based in Puerto Vallarta for more than 35 years. Tello has successfully ventured into painting, printmaking, photography, and sculpture. To the amazement of many, he documented the existence of otters in the Cuale River with photographs. His work Origin and Destiny is part of the sculptural corridor of El Malecón and he has recently developed a new technique of engraving on revealed photographic paper, to make lines with a pointed gurbia and give shades that go from black, ocher, gold and vermilion to white. to color the ¨Tellographs¨ as he has called them. Tello settles under the Cuale Island Bridge every afternoon from 4 to 9 pm.
