Students will learn the basics of italic calligraphy. Techniques of letter formation, lettering exercises, and style concepts will be addressed. Students will leave class with tools and printed materials to help them continue to learn the art of beautiful lettering.

We encourage students to have basic and complex conversations using already known words, and by introducing words as we move further along the course. Don’t be hesitant to learn how to speak the second most spoken language in the world.

Learn the basics of watercolor in this beginner course. We will cover the principles of color theory, color mixing, paint layering, and texture through still life, landscapes and wildlife. Whether you are a practicing artist or would just like to get started, you’ll leave the class with a the basics of watercolor painting.
