Beautiful paintings, sculpture and decorative art from the 13th century to the present day.
Students will learn the basics of italic calligraphy. Techniques of letter formation, lettering exercises, and style concepts will be addressed. Students will leave class with tools and printed materials to help them continue to learn the art of beautiful lettering.

We encourage students to have basic and complex conversations using already known words, and by introducing words as we move further along the course. Don’t be hesitant to learn how to speak the second most spoken language in the world.
This 3 day workshop (January 17, 18, 19, 2024) from 10:00am-12:30 each day Students will carve a wood printing block and create a take-home project. The drawing classes is designed with the beginner in mind and take you step by step to develop your skills with personalized attention. We will do exercises to observe motor skills, creativity and we will look at our environment with an artistic gaze.
