Rosario is a lively musical based on the work of Rosario Castellanos, one of Mexico’s first feminists. Castellanos emphasized the use of comedy as a way to encourage social change. She also had a love of the macabre. Rosario features the translations, musical settings, and original writing of Alisa Amor to create something new; a Mexican, feminist comedy/horror musical!
